Day Meeting of Nagercoil District Branch was held on 22-08-2017, at 1430 hours at Kasthuribai Maathar Sangam Building ,
Nagercoil.
District President Com.
Dhamodharan presided over the meeting and the District Secretary Com. A. Chelliah
, welcomed the gathering and briefly explained about our pensioners
associations achievement of 78.2 % IDA merger, removal of 60:40 hurdle and our further efforts to get pension revision at par with 7th
CPC recommendations on IDA basis, Free Night call service to the retired
pensioners, Medical Allowance without voucher scheme etc.
Prof. Dr. K. Chidambara Natarajan, a
Homoeopathic consultant & psychologist from Tamilnadu Medical College was
the Chief Guest of honour and in his
address to the pensioners, he gave some
valuable advises and the use of simple medicines for immediate relief from minor
diseases. . This was very educative and useful to our pensioners who attended
the meeting.
More than 94 pensioners attended the meeting and finally, the
District Treasurer Com. Balan proposed a vote of thanks.
