ChTD - MEDICAL ALLOWANCE - OPTION FORM:

Com M. Kannappan, Treasurer, AIBSLPWA, ChTD has got the copy of the Medical Allowance OPTION FORM for the ChtTD pensioners, from ChTD CGM OFFICE with instructions.

All the retired staff should give option form whether they intend to claim Medical expenditure with or without voucher. Then only AOs could calculate the amount for w/o voucher cases and submit the same to get fund from Newdelhi.

Today a fitting lunch party was held in Sacred Heart  Community Hall Thanjavur,  on the eve of retirement function of Sri P. S. Murthy, JAO, BSNL Thanjavur who retires on 30-04-2017  Many of our Members and  Office bearers  of Thanjavur District Branch AIBSNLPWA participated , greeted him and made the function a grand success.

Com P.S.Moorthy is enrolling himself as Life Member from 1.5.17 in our AIBSNLPWA Thanjavur District Branch.

We wish him all the best and a peaceful and calm retired life. We welcome Com.P.S.Moorthy whole heartedly to our Association.

ஒய்வு பெற்ற STS தோழர் A  செங்கழனி அவர்கள் நம் சங்கத்தின் முத்த  தோழர். எல்லா கூட்டத்திற்கும் தவறாமல் வந்திருந்து அனைத்து நிகழ்ச்சிகளிலும் பங்கெடுத்து சிறப்பிக்கும் பண்பாளர். ஒரு நாள் மாவட்ட செயலர் தோழர் அன்பழகனுடன் பேசும் போது , தன் வறுமை நிலைமை காரணமாக கைக்கெடிகாரம் கட்ட இயலவில்லை என்று கூறியுள்ளதை செயலர் மனதில் கொண்டு இன்று தோழர் செங்கழனி அவர்களுக்கு தோழர் ஜானகி ராமன் (SDE ஒய்வு), தோழர் சுந்தரம் ( AGM ஒய்வு), தோழர் ஜனக ராஜன் ( SDE ஒய்வு), தோழியர் கல்யாணி ( மாவட்ட அமைப்பு செயலர்) மற்றும் தோழர் நந்தன் ( AIBSNLPWA உறுப்பினர் ) ஆகியோர் முன்னிலையில்  ஒரு கைக்கடிகாரத்தை அன்பளிப்பாக அளித்துள்ளார்.

இத்துடன் அவர் நிற்கவில்லை. பாண்டிச்சேரியில் மே மாதம் முதல் தேதியிலிருந்த்து இரு சக்கர வாகன ஓட்டிகள் ஹெல்மெட் அணிவது கட்டாய மாகிறது. ஹெல்மெட் அணியாமல் பிடிபட்டால் ரூ ஆயிரம் அபராதம் உண்டு. நம் சங்க உறுப்பினர்கள் யார் யாரிடம் இரு சக்கர வாகனம் உள்ளது என்கிற விபரங்களை சேகரித்து அவர்களுக்கு sms மூலமாகவும் whatsapp மூலமாகவும் செய்திகள் அனுப்பியும் , போனில் பேசியும் நேரில் காணும்போது அறிவுறுத்தியும் வருகிறார்.
வாழ்க அவர் தொண்டு. வளர்க அவர் தொண்டுள்ளம்.

VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO OUR MEMBERS    

We are giving instructions to our members repeatedly to make their Pension savings bank account in bank or post office as EITHER OR SURVIVOR type account.  In spite of our repeated reminders some pensioners do  not follow our instructions.They donot realise the seriousness in our advise.

Recently when one member died he was having 2 lakhs rupees in his SB Account in his name. When his wife asked for the amount the authorities required legal heir certificate. The postal  authorities say that some other person may claim as his wife or legal heir and drag them into dispute. Now his wife  is suffering to get legal heir certificate. 

If you have EITHER OR SURVIVOR SB A/C, your wife/husband can withdraw money easily.( In the Pension SB account only wife or husband as the case may be could become a joint account holder) that is why we  ask our members to have either or survivor pension account in Post office or in  Banks by joining wife or husband as joint account holder. The rules are there for having such account in post office or in bank.  if you have not done it so far, please  do not delay it. Act now immediately and  dont put your spouse in trouble after your life.

காரைக்குடி தொலைத்தொடர்பு மாவட்டத்தின் காரைக்குடி கிளையின் நடைமுறைக்கூட்டம் 19.04.2017 அன்று காலை 11மணிக்கு திரு.ஜெயச்சந்திரன் அவர்கள் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்றது.
கிளைச்செயலர்.திரு.சுந்தரராஜன் அவர்கள் வந்திருந்த அனைவரையும் வரவேற்றுப்பேசினார். மாவட்டச்செயலர் முருகன் அவர்களும் மாநில உதவிச்செயலர் நாகேஷ்வரன் அவர்களும் மருத்துவப்படி,இரவுநேர இலவச அழைப்புகள் பற்றியும் லோக்கல் என்ற முறைக்குப்பதிலாக மீட்டர்கால் என்றமுறையில் விரைவில் உத்தரவு பிறப்பிக்கப்படவுள்ளது பற்றியும்  விரிவாக எடுத்துரைத்தனர்.

The given below Retirees can contact the  DY. General Manager  (FINANCE) at Flower Bazaar Telephone Exchange.
 By taking a xerox copy of their entire PPOand along with Original can get attested from the DGM (F) on the Xerox copy ( KEEP YOUR OIRIGINAL PPO WITH YOU)  and submit in the section concerned in the Flower Bazaar Exchange itself. They will take care to Forward the same to The  Joint  CCA Office at  Ethiraj Salai.

Today at 12 noon I along with  J S Dahya and Anupam Kaul met Smt Sujata Rai, Director HR of BSNL and thanked her for restoring without voucher scbeme.
We requested her to clarify about option and periodicity of MRS card.
She directed us to meet the GM Admn.
We met GM then.
1. Pensioners have to exercise fresh option with/without voucher. A proforma is being issued to SSAs to collect and register options.
 2. MRS Cards are issued for one year, 2 years, 5 years by circles.  We wanted standardisation. 
Circles will be directed to obtain undertakings from pensioners every year instead of renewing the card ,   like life certificate.
3.         2007 order is being revised on rent free tephone connections. The word free local calls is being replaced by metered calls.

Dear Comrades,

For outdoor treatment without voucher facility was withdrawn vide corporate office letter dated 5/9/2011. Now corporate office has revived that facility for pensioners vide its letter dated 11/4/2017. This decision is subject to review after six months.

 For those who retired prior to 1/1/2007  there are two options.

1) Last pay drawn + old DA pattern in April of the year for which the claim is made divided by two. 

2) Minimum of corresponding revised pay on 1/1/2007 + DA of April of the year for which claim is made.  12-1/2 days wages of this amount is the ceiling. 

For those who retired after 1/1/2007,

12-1/2 days wages of LPD + DA of April of the concerned year to which claim is made. The above is total annual ceiling and it will be paid in four equal instalments.

We have been pursuing this demand since 2011 September onwards and we could succeed only now.  It's one more achievement of our Association.

OUTDOOR MEDICAL TREATMENT ALLOWANCE 
ரசீது இல்லாமல் அவுட்டோர் மருத்துவ சிகிச்சைக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்டு வந்த அலவன்ஸ் 05-09-2011 முதல் நிறுத்தப்பட்டு விட்டது. நாம் பல்வேறு தருணங்களில், மீண்டும் இந்த அலவன்ஸ் அளிப்பது துவங்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்று கோரிக்கைகள் விடுத்தோம்.
அதன் பலனாக தற்சமயம் ஓய்வூதியர்களுக்கு மருத்துவ படி அளிப்பதை புதுப்பித்து 11-04-2017 அன்று உத்தரவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது . இது ஆறு மாதங்களுக்கு நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டு மறு பரிசீலனை செய்யப்படும் என்று உத்தரவில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இதன் பிரகாரம் 01-01-2007க்கு முன் ஒய்வு பெற்ற ஓய்வூதியர் களுக்கு 
(1) ஒய்வு பெறுமுன் கடைசி மாதம் பெற்ற அடிப்படை தொகை ( LPD ) + விண்ணப்பிக்கும் ஆண்டிற்கான ஏப்ரல் மாதத்திற்கான பழைய DA (1997 பேசிக் வருடம்) இதில் வருகிற கூட்டுத்தொகையை இரண்டால் வகுக்க வருகின்ற தொகை தான் ஓராண்டிற்கான  மருத்துவ அலவன்ஸ் .இது  மூன்று மாதங்களுக்கு ஒரு முறை வழங்கப்படும். 

(2)  01-01-2007 ல் மாற்றியமைக்கப்பட்ட அடிப்படை ஊதியம் + எந்த வருடம் விண்ணப்பிக்கிறோமோ அந்த ஆண்டின் ஏப்ரல் மாத DA . இதில் 12.5 நாட்களுக்கான ஊதியமே ஆண்டு மருத்துவ படிக்கான அதிகப்பட்ச தொகையாகும். இது நான்கு சம தவணைகளாக மூன்று மாத இடைவெளியில் வழங்கப்படும்.

01-01-2007க்குப்பின் ஒய்வு பெற்றவர்களுக்கு 
ஒய்வு பெறுமுன்  பெற்ற கடைசி மாத அடிப்படை ஊதியம் + மருத்துவ படிக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்கும் ஆண்டின் ஏப்ரல் மாத பஞ்சப்படி சதவீதம் . இவ்வாறாக கணக்கிடப்பட்டு வருகிற தொகையில் 12.5 நாட்களுக்கான தொகையே ஒரு ஆண்டிற்கான அதிகப்பட்ச மருத்துவ அலவன்ஸ் ஆகும். இத்தொகையை நான்கு சம தவணைகளில் மூன்று மாதத்திற்கு ஒரு முறை மருத்துவ அலவன்ஸ் ஆக வழங்கப்படும்.

மருத்துவப்படி மீண்டும் அளிக்கப்பட்ட வேண்டும் என்ற கோரிக்கையினை நாம் 2011 செப்டம்பர் மாதத்திலிருந்து கோரி வந்துள்ளோம். அதற்கான பலன் இப்போதுதான் கண்டுள்ளோம் .
நம் சங்கத்தின் சாதனைகளில் மற்றுமோர் சாதனையாகும் இது.

ஒரு ஆண்டிற்கான மருத்துவ அலவன்ஸ் =
 (  LPD + Respective April DA ) X 25  =

இதில் LPD  என்பது பணியில் இருந்தபோது ஒய்வு பெறுவதற்கு முன் நாம் பெற்ற Basic Pay ஆகும்.

So far so good.

Thanjavur Distrct Monthly Meeting Report

Aibsnlpwa Thanjavur District Monthly Meeting was conducted on 08-04-2017 which started  exactly at  10hrs in the Main Telephone Exchange Complex. The Meeting was Presided over by the Distt. President com AKD, Distt. Secy conducted the events , flag hoisted by com. Rajendran, prayer by Baby Archana.

Welcome address given by Com. K Santhana Gopalan,   Vice president and in his welcome address he covered all the salient points of last month meeting conducted International  women's day celebration, Reduction of IDA, 78.2% arrears payment present status in the district, latest Circle Executives Conference held at virudunagar, and the present payment pattern of MRS etc elaborately.

Com C.V Thangaiyan Circle Organising Secretary  spoke briefly about the Circle Executive  Conference held at virudunagar. Com V Swaminathan narrated about the latest news and achievements of the dist union elaborately. The varuthapadatha valibangalin birthday celebration was conducted as usual and after vote of thanks  the meeting came  to an end with serving of delicious midday lunch.
