function in Philominanagar Telephone exchange Thanjavur
was held. Three members of AIBSNLPWA Thanjavur Division namely P. Rajarethinam, K. Santhanagopalan , Retired
DEs, and Sri Vijayakumar Retd DGM attended the function. The function was presided over by Sri. Vinodh,
GM, TJ.
The cut
over was done by our member Sri. P. Rajarethinam Retd DE as the GM offered the
job to him. All the DGMs,DEs SDEs, JTOs and staff attended the function and paid
due respect to our members.

TJ members also enthusiastically attended
and delivered speeches on the occasion.
Sri K Santhanagopalan retired DE spoke very elaborately and in his address
congratulated the entire staff involved in the installation works and invited
all the staff in advance to join our
association after their retirement and offered a warm welcome for them . Our
association is the only one in PSU which has achieved the Govt. Pension, Medical
reimbursement w/o voucher, and shortly going to get the 7th pay commission recommended
benefits for Pensioners . The pension now being received is more than the take
home pay while in service . He requested
the working staff to put their efforts in
making the BSNL in the high esteemed position as the industry of communication
is in cut throat competition condition with the private operators.
Sri P.
Rajarethinam Retd DE also expressed his happiness in cutting over the NGN
system and Vijayakumar Retd DGM expressed his participation in initial works of
NGN while in service. GM Tj expressed his gratitude towards the staff and
appreciated the staff involving in the NGN works. The function makes the event memorable one. Long live AIBSNLPWA.
