AIBSNLPWA Thanjavur District
Branch has celebrated a special occasion in connection with the upcoming Deepavali
festival in an innovative grand manner with the Blind boys and girls’, Home for Deaf and Dumb Annai sathya orphanage
home, Red Cross Boys Hostel, Guild of service Boys Orphanage Home, Guild of
service Girls Orphanage Home and Mentally retarded home at Thanjavur on 7th
and 8th of October 2017.
A team led by com V
Swaminathan Dist Secy, Coms K.S.Krishnamoorthy,
GVT, K.Santhanagopalan, LCP, and women coms Padmini, Mallika, and more than 10 active
coms took active part in the event and distributed more than 650 sweet pockets, 120 boys girls dresses
to the above organization in mates.
Celebration in Anbalayam Mentally
Retarted Home was headed by PGM Thanjavur Sri Vinodh and DGM Vijayakumar along
with more than 10 active coms of our AIBSNLPWA Thanjavur Dist Branch in a grand
manner.
A dozen of ladies nighties
and inner wears, 30 nos bermudas and T shirts were distributed along with sweet
and gift boxes to the inmates of the home. It was a wonderful and soul filling event and all the members and inmates of all
the homes were enlightened and in a joyful mood and prayers were conducted in a
heart touching manner with a happy atmosphere with mankind. There is no an equivalent
scene available in the entire world to compare and all members were enjoyed
including the participants and the inmates of all the home.
The wardens in charge of all
the homes and inmates were very happy and conveyed their gratitude with fullest
satisfaction. We the comrades of
Thanjavur AIBSNLPWA Dist Branch every year celebrate the deepavali festival in
a useful and meaningful manner with the Blind boys and girls, orphanages and
Mentaly retarded persons with out fail
and Thanks to all the persons involved in the activity.
