         Deepavali Celebration
In spite of being Deepavali day  ( 18-10-2017 ) some of the Thanjavur  AIBSNLPWA eminent  members, instead of celebrating the great festival and enjoy the special TV programs, went out at 0930 hrs for a noble cause to Anbalayam  in Thanjavur which is a home for mentally distorted persons .
A team consisting of 10 enthusiastic and active, kindhearted with helping tendency comrades of our Association lead by Com.V.Swaminathan DS, Com.K.Santhanagopalan VP, Com.M .Irudhayaraj, Com K.Seenu Treasurer to mention a few and other comrades visited Anbalayam home and celebrated the Deepavali festival with the inmates and the Incharge of  the home.
They carried special tiffin with 3 Special sweets  and special l Savory which  were distributed to them with affection. Then  crackers were also given  to them. This blossoms a special harmony and a spring to their hearts and all inmates enjoyed with extreme happiness  like there is no word to express their actual feelings and we all felt like flying in the heaven. We all felt thanking our the group leader who had conceived this idea and thanked God for the opportunity offered to us. As part of little entertainment, Melodious songs were beautifully sung by the inmates very enthusiastically and actually God had  offered them such a wonderful  talent and knowledge  with Raga , swara and lyrics. We could see  many unsung heroes and heroines in them . Long hours slipped off as of a second and with their blessings and rolling of tears of joy from their eyes, we returned home with fully charged happiness. This lingering memory will remain  fresh in our hearts for a very long time.
Fraternally Yours,
K.Santhanagopalan  VP
