AIBSNLPWA Nagercoil District, celebrated Pensioners
Day on 3-1-2017 Tuesday at Kasturibai Mathar
Sangam, (opp.Collectorate) Nagercoil. Com.A.Damodharan District president
presided over the meeting.
District secretary com. A.chelliah welcomed the
gathering and briefly explained the achievements of 78.2% IDA merger and Pension
Anomaly cases.
Com.Ramachandran former president All India
Insurance Employees Union Nagercoil was the guest.. While addressing,
Com.Ramachandran told, that pensioners should unite in one forum for
getting all benefits from the Government. AIBSNLPWA is the only
association looking after the welfare of pensioners and the association leaders’s
tireless efforts have gained all achievements.
Further the
pensioners above 75 years were honoured with shawls. Under the
banner of District union,New year 2017 monthly calendars and pensioners name
and address book were distributed to all members.
Nearly 110
pensioners attended the meeting and
Com.Balan District treasurer proposed a vote of thanks.
