With deep grief, I am posting this in connection with the Natural Fury / Disaster in the Southern Districts of Tamilnadu...
I need not say the havoc is unprecedented...
Our Association has always associated in extending Help to the Victims of Natural Disasters. So to say, Our General Secretary also issued CALL to celebrate the Pensioners Day and extend Our Mite to the Needy....
Now, the situations in the Southern Districts are such that even those who want to help can not move out...
The Government / NGOs / Social Activists are trying to do whatever is possible...
Our Members should also come forward to contribute to help the affected people...
However, it is physically not possible to extend our HELP ( in any form / way) for another couple of days...
In this context, as we have been doing our services individually/collectively during distress not only inTamilnadu but wherever it happens, May I request the Circle executive members to centralise the RELIEF (may be Money / Materials) to the People to be distributed as soon as they Reach to the Victims become possible. We may also collect / concentrate on the losses to our own BSNL Friends through our DSs in southern parts If agreed, we may send an appeal through our DS . For consideration.
