AIBSNLPWA TN CIRCLE

Pensioner’s Day was celebrated in a colourful manner by AIBSNLPWA Traffic Division in their Association Building, Nanganallur, Chennai on 10-12-2016.

More than 100 members enthusiastically participated in the meet Presided over by Com. Ranganathan, President, TFC Div, Chennai.

Com V Rama Rao Taminadu Circle President while in his speech said that regarding 78.2,  cases out of nearly 400 pre-2007 cases, 100 cases have been Completed  and the rest will be completed in a few days and sent to DoT cell.

As regards to post 2007 along with Chennai Telephones  all cases have been completed and sent to DoT cell. 

At DoT cell Ethiraj salai they have cleared nearly 2000 cases and many Pensioners  have received the payment.  But DoT has to clear 13000 cases on hand and another 5000 cases yet to come from few SSAs.  Our Chennai Telephone comrades have sent 6 Pensioners as Volunteers to help  DoT cell and are ready to give few more volunteers if required. 

As DoT cell have called for a meeting  on 16.12.2016 with our Circle Association  the proposed Demonstration has been deferred. 

Com K. Mythiyalu, spoke in detail about the Contribution of D.S Nakara for Pensioners.

Com DG explained about the Bangalore Victory conference and Hon Minister Shri Ananthakumar’s  contribution in getting 78.2% IDA fixation and also the minister’s assurance to help us to get "fitment benefit of 32% of basic pension” as granted to Central Pensioners by the 7^th CPC. Com P Sathianarayana District secretary proposed vote of thanks.
