Chennai STR Division Secretary Com D.S. Ramalingam has gone to the CGM TN Circle office today. He met Sri G. Ravi, PGM( F) and enquired about 78.2% Pension arrears works. PGM (F) replied that a separate AO has been deputed for this work and things are moving on very fast now. Com D.S. Ramalingam invited him to participate in STR Division Pensioners Day Meeting to be held on 13-12-2016 as CHIEF GUEST. PGM F TN has immediately agreed to attend and told that he would confirm it soon.
Com Ramalingam also met the Special Accounts officer for pension revision work and discussed with him about the progress. He hopefully told that post 2007 cases would be completed within this month end. He told pre 2007 work was very light and that would be taken after finishing this post 2007 work. Com.Ramalingam asked him to expedite the case quickly since members were eagerly awaiting the outcome anxiously . He also perused our members com Mohanraj and Rathakrishnan’s cases. The meeting with the officers were very useful and he had
given pressure to them to expedite the cases.
Really a welcome trend from Tamilnadu Finance wing of circle office which has at last decided to do the work. Special thanks to Comrade Sri RAMALINGAM for his untiring steps to reach the so called office and extract information from them.
