December 17th day is being celebrated as
" Pensioners Day "
by Pensioners and their related associations in India. About 32 years before on
17th December 1982
our supreme court delivered a
historic judgement in
" Nakara case".

The judgement declared that
Pension is the inalienable right
of the retired employees.
Our association, AIBSNLPWA celebrates
Pensioners Day
every year almost in all SSAs.
