Pensioners Day Celebrations at Tenkasi by AIBSNLPWA,Tenkasi

Pensioners day celebrations of Tenkasi area by BSNL pensioners was

celebrated very grandly on 17-12- 17 at 10 A.M at Hotel Soundarya Hall in

Courtallam Road,Tenkasi  .Com.V.Paramasivam,Branch President of

AIBSNLPWA, Tenkasi presided over the function. Kadavul Valthu was sung by

Com.R.Durairaj.  Welcome address and further details of reports of functioning of the branch have been explained and spoke by the branch Secretary

Com.S.Chellappa.

The President explained the importance of the Nagra case and

the judgment given for giving pension benefits to all .He gave detailed reports

of his best performances in dealing the pensioners cases of the branch and

requested  all members to spend their full support to him. N.Velayutham, the

Treasurer explained about the poor fund position of the branch and requested

all members of the branch to give morale support  freely by giving donations

to AIBSNLPWA to improve fund position in order to perform effective

functioning of the branch.

He explained the latest status of the 3rd PRC. He requested the mother AIBSNLPWA District Branch of Tirunelveli to give full support for growing this branch which is having more than 100 Life Members and mostly of family pensioners . Com.Krishnan, M. Madasamy, M.Pandaram and T.Subbiah who have attained age of more than 70 Years and also Com.S.S.Pandian and Com. R.Esakki who have completed more than 80 years of age have been honored with shawl in the meeting.

Com.Saleem, President of All State Govt. Pensioners associations gave a special speech about the importance of Pensioners day and the implementation of that Nagra judgement in the present central and state governments.  More than 60

pensioners including 20 Lady pensioners have attended the Pensioners day. Com.N.velayutham,Treasurer gave vote of thanks.. The meeting was concluded  with National Anthem.
