Today the 15th Apl, 2018, AIBSNLPWA Thanjavur District Branch held the
monthly meeting by 10 30 hrs at the Main Telephone Exge complex Maris corner
Thanjavur .Around hundred coms attended the meeting including 30 lady comrades. The meeting was presided over
by Com. A. K. Dhanabalan District President and executed by Com. V. Swaminathan
Dist Secy. Prayer song was sung by com. Saratha Santhanagopalan soulfully and
the welcome address was given by District Secretary Then homage was paid to the
departed coms 1.L.Chandraprakash Retd SSS TNJ 2.Srinivasa Rao Retd JTO TNJ and 3.J. Amuldurai, STS Kumbakonam SSA and One minute silence was observed and prayed
for their souls to be kept in peace by the Almighty . Com. Nagarajan Retd DGM spoke and paid a tearful homage
and and recollected the close friendship days and years with com L. Chandra
Prakash. Then Dist Secy explained
the news about TN Circle Executive meeting recently held at Pondy and the latest position about MRS,
Pension revision in detail.
Com K. SANTHANAGOPALAN, Vice president gave
a brief about the 3 departed coms in this month and paid a fitting homage by
remembering their relentless services rendered to our association. He informed
pleasant moments recollecting the last month International women's day mammoth celebration and the
appreciation rendered by com PSR CHQ President, meeting with the CGMT, TN
Circle last month by some of the E. C. Members at TNJ, Present IDA hike, latest MRS position and the need for
submission of revised option with vouchers, the General topic about the latest
happenings in CHQ , Circle, District levels. Finally he narrated the latest financial year Income
Tax calculations and how to submit IT return in detail. Then the Sixtieth birthday celebrations
of some of our members cake cutting with slogan were carried out with galore. sandal garlands were
offered amidst slogan shouting and applause.
Vote of Thanks was given by
the District President and the meeting came
to an end happily. Last but not the least delicious Tanjurian Lunch was served
to all.
