AGAIN, THE LETHARGY IN BSNL OFFICES ...

PENSION REVISION OF DOT PENSIONERS

The Government accepted a new formulation for revision of pension of central government pensioners with effect from 1-1-2016. Orders were issued on 12-5-2017 with a directive that the revision should be completed by 31-12-2017. Accordingly 99086 DoT employees retired before 1-10-2000 should get pension revision. BSNL had to forward the calculations to the CCA offices. But as on 18-12-2017 only 29890 cases have been sent by BSNL to CCAs. Only 30%. Just one week is left for completion of the work. As usual, the BSNL Corporate Office has sent another reminder to Circles to take immediate action. The number of cases sent by BSNL and the total number of cases (in bracket) are given here under.

Chattishgarh, Haryana, NE and UP East Circles of BSNL haved completed their work. There is good progress in J&K, Rajasthan, UP West and Uttrakhand circles. Kolkata telephone Circle has not sent a single case so far. Position in Delhi, Maharastra and Tamilnadu (where there are many cases) is also very poor.
