AIBSNLPWA Delegation Meets JS, DoP&PW on Pension-Related Issues.,
Today, Com. V. Vara Prasad, General Secretary, along with Com. Anupam Kaul, Deputy General Secretary, and Com. R. S. N. Murty, Vice President, met Shri Dhrubjyothi Sengupta, Joint Secretary, Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoP&PW), in New Delhi.
Ø During the meeting, we discussed several issues, including: Inclusion of BSNL pension revision in the Terms of Reference of the 8th CPC.
Ø Pending status of BSNL pension revision.
Ø Representation of AIBSNLPWA in SCOVA.
Ø Formulation of new proposals for submission to the 8th CPC.
Ø Pending settlement of pension for V. K. Bhaskar, Ex-DE, for his service rendered in DoT.
Shri Sengupta was joined by Shri Ravikiran Ubale, Director, and Smt. Ramanjit Kaur, Government Consultant.
Ø During our interaction, he mentioned that he would try to suggest simplification of pension rules to avoid unnecessary litigations in pension-related matters.
The meeting was very positive, and we extended our sincere thanks for his time and attention to our concerns.
