Thanjavur District Monthly
meeting
The
AIBSNLPWA of Thanjavur District Branch monthly meeting was held at Main Telephone
Exchange Complex Thanjavur today the 10th June by 1100hrs. As usual today’s meeting had a huge and enthusiastic gathering of about 150 comrades, including more than 60 Lady comrades.
The meeting
was presided over by com A.K. Dhanabalan ,
District President , the events were conducted by Com V. Swaminathan , Dist. Secretary . Today’s
program started with a prayer song sung by Com Devarajan, followed by one Thirukkural
explanation by President. Com Ayyanar delivered the welcome address . Homage was paid to departed comrades by
observing two minutes silence .
Com C V Thangaiyan, Circle Office Bearer gave a detailed report about 78.2% cases
present position and appreciated the dist. Branch’s quick and effective
activities. Next com K. Santhanagopalan, Dist. Vice. President gave a elaborate
lecture on IDA, 78.2%, 7th pay commission recommendations, PRC implementation conditions
for serving executives in BSNL, MRS with
and without voucher procedures and the benefits therein, income tax liabilities
and how to submit in detail and pressed for the donations in connection with
the receipt of 78.2% arrears without fail from every member. Com M Irudhayaraj,
another vice president gave a General lecture about social activities.
Then the
Manivizha of about 11 comrades retired last month ( all have joined in our association) was celebrated in a grand manner by offering sandal garlands of Thanjavur
Traditional famous and about 20 nos of
varuthapadatha valibangalin birthdays were celebrated by cutting of birth day cakes among loud claps and exchange
of greetings .

financial Adviser, Vallam Tajpal spoke, after vote of Thanks by Com Chinnadurai. the meeting came to an end with
serving of traditional and delicious Thanjavur
midday meals.
