The
AIBSNLPWA of Thanjavur District Branch conducted the monthly meeting on 09.09.2017 at BSNL Main Telephone Exge Complex Maris Corner,
Thanjavur. The meeting started exactly by 11.00 hrs,presided over by Com. A. K.
Dhanabalan, president and conducted by Com V Swaminathan, District secretary
and about 100 comrades participated, even in the rainy season from local and
out stations and especially lady
comrades gathered more with enthusiasm. Com Devaraj rendered the prayer song
followed by days agenda and last month meeting briefs were read approved by the members attended and one
Thirukural Vilakkam by president and welcome address by com. K. Ayyanar, Co.
Secy.

Santhanagopalan, Vice president gave a elaborate lecture about the CHQ, Circle,
Division activities regarding MRS, IMPLEMENTATION
OF 7th CPC Pension revision for us ,78.2 arrears, pending cases with PCCA and
CPPC cases, expected IDA hike and the present need of our esteemed unity
towards solving our problems to achieve our esteemed targets in time and
requested the members to donate liberally as fixed in the GB meeting to meet
out the Court and Lawyer expenses without any problem. Then com M. Irudharaj
spoke about Genl topic like social and humanity activities in the day to day lives
. Com. V. Swaminathan D.S in his address
covered all the dist union activities
and achievements in a grand manner.
The high
light of the function “ Manivizha” of last month retirees 2 Comrades s and Birthday
Celebration of about Ten Comrades were
celebrated in a grand manner with Sandal Garlanding and birthday cake cutting etc
amidst applauds as usual. Vote of Thanks
was rendered by Com LCP the meeting came to an end with serving of delicious Tanjurian lunch .
